INSIDE THIS ISSUE:

Locals monitor Red House MOA camp area

Several residents of the Charlotte County, Virginia, area drove by to see where the Muslims of America camp is located at Red House, and reported back to Christian Action Network.

Though unintended, the number of visits add up to an occasional monitoring of the compound area through the month of March, judging by reports from CAN supporters that came in.

A single man drove by the site after asking a young woman in “Muslim-style dress” where the Muslims of America camp might be. “I wasn’t sure I’d go see it, but I was in the area on business,” he said.

“She was kind, and told me where it was, so I drove by,” he added. “I just took a look from the road, the small sign on one of the Sheikh Gilani Road signs said it was a private road.”

The man didn’t see anyone around. “I did hear distinct whistling, people whistling – I’m sure it a signaling back and forth,” he said. “I didn’t feel threatened, I was just impressed how closely watched their ‘perimeter’ is.”

Another man brought his family out to Red House, he recalled, on a Sunday after church, “after learning of this MOA compound so close by – reading the booklet by [Martin] Mawyer,” he said.

“This information was shocking enough to motivate me to drive there to see it for myself,” he added. “I believe it was important to me to have first hand knowledge.

“If anyone doubts the existence of this compound, it is very easy to drive by and see for themselves. It's rather alarming to see this on local America soil.”

The man, who went with his wife and two young children, referred to Martin Mawyer’s pamphlet, ‘Jihad in America!’ which lists known Muslim of America compound locations in the U.S.

The man and his family noticed a number of individuals, telling from a woman’s manner of dress, they were from the compound – the man’s wife leaned out to take a few photos.

“They saw me turn my vehicle around and I drove pass them again and I pulled into the MOA entrance,” he said.

“I glanced up at my rear view mirror…a man pulled a cell phone from his pocket and dialed and began talking on it while looking in our direction,” he added.

“It seems as if the man was concerned about my being parked in the MOA entrance…I pulled out into the public road and headed [away].”

They had gone about a mile, and then noticed a white European-model car coming up “rather rapidly” to follow “rather closely” for about a mile before turning back.

Soon after, at a convenience stop, they saw another vehicle they thought was from the compound.

“A dark colored car pulled into the gas pumps behind me,” he said. “A black man was driving and a woman dressed in middle-eastern garb was riding.

“I must say, I felt a little spooked by the events,” he added. “We talked about the oddness - if they could be acts of aggression or maybe just coincidences.”

Active CAN supporters involved with viewing camp locations express agreement that it is important to see the compounds for themselves.

They have noted in numerous cards, e-mails and phone calls their understanding that the Islamist Muslim agenda is not friendly to American freedoms or values.

In general, the Muslim worldview is hostile to the American worldview and should be policed closely for the safety and welfare of this nation,” one compound monitor said in an e-mail.

Some safety tips:

CAN asks occasional un-announced visits to compound locations be made only if persons are sure they can be on their best, neighborly behavior – no harassment.

It is recommended that younger children be left home, as it seems to us to be better for just adults to take a drive like that.

Photos and reports back to Christian Action Network are welcome. It is legal to take photos from a public roadway. However, it is also a resident’s right to call police if they feel harassed.

Do not block entrances or driveways if stopping at a compound location.

If approached, do not be afraid of neighborly conversation, saying why you’re there, being honest about your concerns, and handing copies of ‘Jihad in America!’ out to those you meet.

It is good to let some supportive friend know of your visit, and to be in communication with them immediately before and after your stopping by.

Sheikh Mubarak Ali Gilani, founder of Muslim of America, has posted on his website in invitation for neighbors to feel free to visit and tour the compounds themselves.

Past visits by Christian Action Network activists have taken place, and visitors were treated cordially. CAN brochure information has been rather unwelcome, however.
