Welcome to North Carolina Representative Sue Myrick’s 10-point initiative to push back against terrorist infiltration and accommodation in America.

She calls it her “Wake up America” agenda, a contract to act against the wellsprings of terrorist infiltration in America - and against the apathy - “to alert and educate Americans to terrorist threats here at home posed by radical Islamic extremists,” an April 18 news release stated.

In a recent editorial, Myrick commented on the need to rise up against the habit of ignoring the growing threat posed by radical Islam.

“We have underestimated the will and capability of our enemy for more than 30 years,” she said. Meanwhile, “they are patient and determined to achieve their radical agenda.

“I know that some people will refuse to admit there is a subversive movement going on here,” she added, “but if we fail to emerge victorious, our radical enemy threatens to establish fascist, Taliban-style governments in many parts of the world.”

Myrick used an evidence exhibit from the U.S. prosecution of the Holy Land Foundation in Dallas Texas as an example. “This memo explains the ‘Civilization-Jihadist Process’ strategy of the Muslim Brotherhood in the United States,” she said.

“They describe their work in America as a path to ‘eliminating and destroying the Western civilization from within…so that it is eliminated and [the Islamic] religion is made victorious over all other religions,’” she added, quoting the memo.

To ensure the level of priority she places on the threat, she closes with an ominous thought. “In such a society, I would be put to death for writing this piece,” she said.

“In order to ensure that the ideals of our founders persist into the next generation, Americans must be willing to confront the enemy head-on - and be smart about it.”

The “Wake up America” agenda is her smart response, her willingness to confront the enemy head-on as a persistent stand for America’s highest patriotic ideals regardless of the risk.

Myrick explains her 10-point plan in a 140-page briefing obtained by PRB News and the Christian Action Network.

In following weeks, the points will be examined individually using documents provided by Myrick’s office as the principle source.

Myrick said she wanted to emphasize her “Wake Up America” agenda is her own work, and not the result of the Congressional Anti-Terrorism Caucus she helped put together.

“This agenda is the start of Representative Myrick’s work on these issues,” a statement released by her office stated. “As she moves forward on these points, she will update the public on her findings.”
