Al-Qaeda is planning a series of terrorist attacks on European railways. This information was received by the National Security Agency as a result of wiretapping the phones of the terrorist group leaders.

In this regard, security was tightened at all positions.

Experts have started speculating where militants could strike. Since the target of terrorists is railroad, it is possible that Al-Qaeda will first try to damage contact wires. Trains and tunnels are under threat as well.

European intelligence agencies put up patrol services on all objects and were set on high alert. Police officers in plain clothes are constantly on duty at railway stations.
