Woman dances in public to protest hijab laws

An Iranian woman has recorded herself dancing in public on the Tehran subway in Iran in protest against laws prohibiting women from doing so.

The woman can be seen throwing some moves up and down the carriage to British pop group Little Mix's song 'Salute'.

It is against the law in Iran for a woman to dance in public or be seen in public without a veil covering their hair and this woman breaks both laws through her protest.

The woman does not attempt to hide her face during her stunt in an act of defiance.

The video was uploaded to the My Stealthy Freedom Facebook page - where Iranian women upload photos and videos of themselves without the compulsory hijab.
