CAN In Action

On April 16, the United Muslim Christian Forum held an interfaith event in Owego, New York, featuring Christian and Muslim speakers, including the mayor of the town. Its website proudly hosts a photo of Binghamton Mayor Matthew T. Ryan holding their sign. Far from the model of tolerance it casts itself as, UMCF is a front for an anti-Semitic, Islamic extremist group named Muslims of the Americas (MOA), and the keynote speaker warned that Allah will destroy whoever supports Koran burnings, and possibly the entire country.

The Christian Action Network has brought incalculable scrutiny onto Muslims of the Americas, an Islamic extremist organization that admits to having 22 “villages” around the country. These “villages” are isolated, Muslim-only communities that (as our videotaped proof shows) are used for guerilla warfare training. And now we’re taking our activism to a whole new level—but we need your help and we need it now!

The Christian Action Network has made a commitment to support the family members of the 9/11 victims at every turn.  We are again supporting them in their protests over the 9/11 Memorial Museum’s decision to place the human remains from that day seven stories underground. Our organization was present at the press conference where citizens who lost loved ones in those attacks made their voices heard, and we are actively networking with them to see what we can do to help.

Imam Rauf is coming to the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill to lecture on something he values, “American Citizenship.” And we could not agree with him more on the importance of American citizenship!
