This sounds like sensitivity training and anger management focused on an undefined problem of “terror” without any reference to jihad, Shari’a or Dhimmitude, as they keep playing us…
Habib Shaikh the Islamic news outlet’s designated correspondent, reported Monday, Jan. 14, on the drafting of special laws and regulations to fight terrorism – but leave jihad to professionals.
JEDDAH — The call was made by researchers and specialists at the Information Technology and National Security conference that concluded in Riyadh recently.
Organized by the Presidency of Saudi Intelligence, it recommended special laws or regulations be drafted that would criminalize the spread of terrorist ideologies.
The laws would be agreed upon by the international community. They recommended committees with the cooperation of a United Nations team to monitor the spread of terrorist ideologies.
The call came two days after Interior Minister Prince Nayef said it was unfortunate that the ideological battle against terrorism in Saudi Arabia was not up to the level of expectations.
The recommendations, which were read at the conclusion of the three-day conference by deputy head of the Presidency of Saudi Intelligence Prince Abdulaziz bin Bandar bin Abdulaiz, urged that a thin line be drawn between freedom of individuals and national security.
Participants recommended a balance between the freedom of information and the protection of the individual and his privacy or any other violation of private rights in Saudi Arabia.
What freedom of information? And is there a place where the private rights protected in Saudi Arabia are enumerated?
