Islamic jihad 2008 begins with “honor”
killings in U.S. and Pakistan
In Kahna , Pakistan , it was a young couple caught in sex; in Irving
, Texas , it was two girls caught on MySpace. Islamist family
members gunned them down on New Year’s Day.
They are part of Islam’s growing legacy of worldwide massacre,
killing 137 and injuring 183 in the opening days of 2008, according
to Religion of Peace jihad monitors and Terrorism Research Center
reports.
The two reported “honor” killing follow fundamentalist Islamic
teachings aimed at instilling fearful adherence to Islam and its
code known as Shari’a law.
As an act of terrorism, the double-murder in Texas ends a 10-month
reprieve from jihadist Islamic coercion of American society through
violence.
The perpetrating terrorist, Yaser Abdel Said, 50, is at large and
wanted on capital murder warrants for the murder of his teenage
daughters Sarah and Amina.
Also over the New Year, sectarian jihadist fighting in Gaza, Israel,
killed seven and injured more than 40.
In Iraq , jihadists killed 43 and wounded 38 on New Years Day - a
suicide bomber in Baghdad pushed into a funeral crowd to detonate
and Islamist gunmen killed families in Jalawla and Tahwelah.
Further civilian attacks by Islamic jihadists in Iraq killed 29 and
injured 45 through Saturday – included were bombings in Baqubah,
Muqdadiyah and Khalis, a drive-by shooting massacre in Muqdadiyah,
and further shootings in Basra and Baghdad .
Daily violence by Islamists in Kurram , Pakistan , killed 22 and
injured 29, in an ongoing dispute between Sunni and Shia
fundamentalists.
Taliban Islamists gunned down their enemies in Kandahar and Halmand,
and a Fedayeen suicide bomber detonated among roadway workers in
Nimroz, killing 10 and wounding 13, total.
India suffered the loss of seven, three injured, in an Islamist
attack on Rampur New Year’s Day. On Thursday, an abducted civilian
was executed in Shopian by Islamic Mujahideen captures.
Four Islamist terror attacks in southern Thailand killed four and
injured five. Murders took place against a Buddhist worker and a man
on the street, and a road-side bombing took a soldiers life.
A bombing at a Naciria, Algeria , police station Wednesday, by
Islamic jihad terrorists killed three and injured seven.
