Mujahideen active in Islamic jihad
activities, casualties average 100 daily, American hemisphere
continues to avoid terrorist activity.
Daily attacks by Islamic jihadists killed 268 and seriously injured
331 worldwide, according to early reports gathered by Religion of
Peace jihad monitors after Christmas to the close of 2007.
Death tolls are expected to rise as numerous injured victims die of
their wounds.
Attacks included an assassination, taking the life of former
Pakistan Prime Minister, and running controversial Presidential
candidate, Benazir Bhutto.
The United States and Canada were not victims by Islamic jihadists
through the holiday week.
Victim nations included Iraq , Somalia , Chechnya , Pakistan ,
Afghanistan , Israel , Thailand , Dagestan and Mauritania - nine
nations in all.
On Wednesday, Islamic jihadists hailing the teachings of Muhammad
followed their prophet’s tactic of using children to shield an
ambush plot against soldiers in Pattani , Thailand .
Including a 49-year-old man gunned down in Narathiwat, the day
yielded four “infidel” deaths.
Rival Sunni and Shia jihadists fought in Kurrum , Pakistan ,
Wednesday: 32 dead, 40 injured.
Also on Wednesday, Taliban jihadists killed 25 and injured 26 in
Sadda , Pakistan , by setting ablaze a village, torching residents
in their homes.
Daily action in Iraq through the week killed 59 and injured 96, in
Mosul , Diyala, Baghdad and Baquba: three dead by torture, three
children killed by bombing, 17 executions, two civilians blown up in
a minibus, and 14 killed with a car bomb.
On New Year’s Eve, an Islamic jihad suicide bomber blew up five
school children and Islamic gunmen killed three teachers, among 15
total dead, seven injured, in Maysan and Tarmiya , Iraq .
Further daily Islamic jihad in Pakistan killed 78 and injured 120
through the week, with the now conflicting reports of the shooting,
suicide bombing, magic shrapnel piece wounding - and possible
insider-assassin shank-stabbing - of Bhutto, leading the news.
Action in Somalia included grenade and mortar attacks by Islamic
militia, killing a civilian in Bakara, two in Siinka Dheer, Friday,
a former mayor’s deputy blasted by a 17-year-old jihadist in
Mogadishu Saturday and 16 killed in Mogadishu Sunday.
The Sunday deaths in Mogadishu included a mom and her five young
children killed by a mortar round. Nearly 20 were wounded in Somalia
by Islamic jihadists trough the week.
Islamic jihad is alleged in an El Ghallawiva, Mauritania , ambush
killing three soldiers Thursday.
Narathiwat and Yala , Thailand , were scenes to attacks on Friday
and a series of retail-area bombings Monday, killing two and
injuring 27.
Also on New Year’s Eve, Mujahideen attacks in Grozney, Chechnya,
killed two police officers, and a booby-trap car-bomb set allegedly
by Islamists killed a man in Derbent, Dagestan.
Two Israelis are dead, one wounded, among hikers gunned down Friday
by Arab Islamic terrorists near Hebron , Israel , highlighting an
artificial claim to a Palestinian national identity.
Other Islamic attacks based on Muhammadist claims of glory to Allah,
Muhammad’s god selected from the host of Arabian idols, rocked
Afghanistan Saturday and Sunday.
Islamic jihad terrorists Saturday ambushed eight in Wardak, killed
two with a roadside bomb in Halmand and executed 16 for being
government police in Kandahar .
On Sunday, Taliban bombs killed four local soldiers in Uruzgan, a
bomb killed a NATO soldier in the Kandahar south area and an ambush
left eight more killed in action in that region.
The killing is justified by leading Shari’a religious authorities,
noted as legal officials under Islamism, as serving Allah and
advancing the power of Islam.
Moderate Muslim leaders are yet to emerge willing to state an
unequivocal condemnation of violent jihad and the supremacist
treatment of “infidels” called for in Shari’a law and the Qur’an.
