Saying battle is mandatory to serve Allah, Islam’s god, al-Qaeda jihad ‘fatwa’ aims at Pakistan’s conquest, control of Islamabad

The Malaysia Sun reported Saturday Jan. 19, on al-Qaeda’s new calling, or religious ruling of a “fatwa” in accordance to Islamic Shari’a law, for “holy war” jihad - to attack, kill and destroy, and seize control of Pakistan.

The ruling of fatwa notes the “holy war” jihad is compulsory, as the jihad for control of Afghanistan. 

Any resistance to the jihad is punishable by death, and may involve beheadings and massacres against non-combatants or civilians, children included - according to Shari’a law, all are the enemy unless they submit to the fatwa for Islamic dominion.

In a video message released yesterday, two major Al Qaeda operatives in Pakistan's Tribal Areas appealed to Qaeda followers to seize control of Islamabad.

"Jihad is compulsory in Pakistan as it is compulsory in Afghanistan," the Daily Times quoted the chief of the Islamic movement of Uzbekistan, Qadri Tahir Yaldeshiv as saying.

He also urged Muslims to avenge the Lal Masjid operation in July 2007 that left more than 100 militants and Islamic madrassa students dead.

Yaldshiv also talked about the need for strict Shari’a law in Pakistan. "Pakistan came into being in the name of Islam, therefore Islam should be enforced in the country," said the Qadri.

The code of Shari’a law is Islam’s equal to the U.S. Constitutional Republic. [See related UK Shari’a story - notes from the Guardian reports coming Wednesday]

It demands the U.S. Constitutional Republic to be dismantled and replaced by Islamic Shari’a law - that makes Islamic Sharia an insurrection in violation of the Smith Act, punishable by death.
