Islamic dispute prompts airport lawsuit

Noting complaint, Islamic dispute prompts airport lawsuit to stop Muslim services in public terminal areas

Sarah Dallof with World Net Daily News reported recently on a shuttle drivers complaint to the FAA against thousands of Islamic religious services being held at Salt Lake International Airport.

A Muslim cab driver countered he was previously assaulted at the airport while trying to pray inside a break room area by the shuttle driver - the dispute being over the use of the driver break-room space.

Following the Islamist Muslim attacks of 9-11, Muslim airport employees began praying in a small airport building used as a break room to avoid, the airport says, being targets.

In a more public location, people in the post-9-11 timeframe had been yelling at them and throwing things.

Shuttle driver Jeff Brueningsen took photos inside the building he and other drivers share at the airport.

"It was definitely an Islamic center." He said, and it didn't feel right, so he filed a complaint with the FAA against the airport, Brueningsen said.

"In proper, polite company you never bring up politics or religion,” he added. “They introduced both instantly into what's supposed to be a professional, secular transportation-aviation facility.”

In the complaint, Brueningsen claims he was harassed by a group of Muslim drivers who made death threats against him. It came to a head earlier this month when, he said, Mohammed Alahmed and others attacked him.

"They were going like this, using their fingers, saying, ‘You F-ing Jew, you don't want us to pray here,'" Brueningsen says.

Alahmed claims Brueningsen tried to stop him from praying. "He say the F word against me, and I didn't do anything. He grabbed me from my shirt and hit me with his hand," he said.

Airport police investigated and charged only Brueningsen with assault. Shortly after, the airport closed the building, and Muslim drivers began praying outside.

No one was happy.

Cab driver Yuriy Artuyunyan says, "We cannot have breakfast, we cannot go to restroom, we cannot play chess."

Barbara Gann, with the Salt Lake International Airport, said, "There were some grave concerns over safety and possible escalating violence."

Airport officials say they never sanctioned prayers, but they never stopped them. Instead they trusted the drivers to be courteous and respectful to one another, a plan that didn't work.

Airport and city officials are meeting to decide what to do with the building. While they do that, Brueningsen isn't allowed to work on airport property.

The Shari’a agenda comes due to the draconian, pharisaical requirements of demonstrating prostrate prayer at prompt moments of the day.

Islamist Muslimism, the Qur’anic ideology, is hard-wired to making theocratic slaves of society - putting its mark on adherents either by consent, as in the salutation of one’s forehead, or by force, as in the shackling of one’s hand.

This is what serves Allah, the god of Islam, a god of fortresses as Muhammad discovered him more than 1,000 years ago. Our society must know its opposition to Islamist ideology or it is destined to be flattened by it.
