PETITION TO DEMAND THE JUSTICE DEPARTMENT LAUNCH 'SEDITION' INVESTIGATION AGAINST AL GORE
The Christian Action Network is demanding the Justice Department launch a criminal investigation against former Vice-President Al Gore for committing “sedition” against the United States.
In a February 13, 2006 address, Al Gore delivered a speech in Saudi Arabia accusing the United States and its President, George Bush, of committing “terrible abuses” against Arabs in America.
Gore stated that Arabs in the United States were being “indiscriminately rounded up, often on minor charges of overstaying a visa or not have a green card in proper order, and held in conditions that were just unforgivable.”
Gore cited no evidence of such “abuses.”
“This is nothing short than an act of sedition against the United States,” Martin Mawyer, president of Christian Action Network stated.
“To go into a foreign country and speak at a gathering of radical Muslims and charge America with committing ‘terrible abuses’ against Arabs, is to betray America and put our troops and all Americans at risk of retaliation.”

As of this petition still needs your full support.
DEMAND THAT AL GORE BE CHARGED WITH SEDITION!
Attorney General Alberto Gonzalez
U.S. Department of Justice
950 Pennsylvania Avenue, NW
Washington, DC 20503-001
Dear
Attorney General Alberto Gonzalez,In a speech by former Vice-President Al Gore to Muslims in Saudi Arabia, he accused the United States of committing "terrible abuses" against Arabs in America.
Specifically, he stated that Arab Americans were being "indiscriminately rounded up...and held in conditions that were just unforgivable.”
This is categorically untrue.
In addition, by stating these conditions were "unforgivable," many radical Muslims will accept this statement as an approval and license to attack American citizens and soldiers.
His speech was nothing short of giving "aid and comfort" to the enemy of our War on Global Terrorism.
I respectfully request that a full criminal investigation be launched into Al Gore's February 13, 2006 speech which I believe amounts to sedition against the United States.

Re: Criminal Investigation
Dear Ms. Fisher,
I represent Christian Action Network, a nonprofit social education and advocacy organization that is extremely concerned, as we all should be, about terrorism in the United States. Our organization fully supports President Bush’s war on terror both domestically and abroad.
While no one would suggest that every Muslim is a terrorist, we understand that Osama Bin Ladin is an adherent of Wahabbism, an “ism” whose origin, heart, and bulk of the adherents are in Saudi Arabia. It is unfortunate that the Qur’an contains so many references to violence against nonbelievers, e.g., 9:5, 47:4 and so on. Any Arab (and overwhelmingly Muslim) country presentation in which a prominent American falsely criticizes America will be widely reported to militant Muslims by the Arab press. Thus it is extraordinarily sad to see prominent Americans giving aid and comfort to our country's enemies when they are abroad (or when they are home for that matter).
On February 13, 2006, the Associated Press reported that Al Gore, speaking in Saudi Arabia to mainly Muslim Saudi Arabians, made statements that the United States government committed “terrible abuses” against Arabs after the September 11, 2001 attacks. Astoundingly, throwing gasoline on a fire, Mr. Gore said that Arabs had been “indiscriminately rounded up and held often on minor charges of overstaying a visa or not having a green card in proper order, and held in conditions that were just unforgivable.” I enclose a reprint of the Associated Press article written by Jim Krane.
The aid and comfort Mr. Gore gave to the enemies of the United States, specifically the Saudi Wahabbists and other extreme Islamists, by such unsupported and unsupportable remarks should be addressed by the proper authorities.
My client hereby requests that the United States Department of Justice open a criminal investigation file into the seditious activities of Mr. Gore for giving aid and comfort to the enemy in the United States war on terrorism.
Very truly yours,
