CAN Hosts ‘Jihad in America” Seminar in Washington, D.C.

Speaking at a Christian Action Network seminar in Washington, D.C. called, “Jihad in America,” Dr. Ergun Caner said, “Sleeper cells in America do not spring up accidentally.”

Dr. Caner, a former Muslim who converted to Christianity in 1982, explained that sleeper cells “spring up by the very nature of what you put in the ground, the very people that gather at the mosque.”

And those Muslims that gather at American Mosques are increasingly coming under the control and command of a radical brand of Islam called Wahhabism.

Wahhabism, which is exported to America from Saudi Arabia, teaches that Muslims should adhere to the strictest tenants of the Koran, including Jihad (Holy War) against infidels.

The seminar, held at the Omni-Shoreham Hotel in February, was attended by 175 individuals who came to hear Dr. Caner, the noted author of “Unveiling Islam,” speak about the growing dangers of Wahhabi teachings that are potentially grooming homegrown terrorists.

Saudi Arabia exports Wahhabism throughout the world, he explained. And the monarchy boldly declares that it has spent billions of dollars internationally to build mosques, Islamic centers and religious schools promoting Wahhabi teachings.

The United States is not an exception, Dr. Caner told the audience.

“Mosques are not being built in America by Muslims,” Dr. Caner said. “They are being built with outside money. And the majority of that money is coming from Saudi Arabia.”

When Saudi Arabia builds or purchases an American mosque, it also controls the placement of its imams, its teachings and its publications. No other brand of Islam is responsible for churning out more Muslim terrorists than Wahhabism, including the most infamous terrorist of all, Osama bin Laden.

Dr. Caner, who is Dean of Theology at Liberty University, said the Koran teaches that a Muslim should never be a citizen of a country that is at war with Islam. But he pointed out that Wahhabism takes the command one step further and teaches that if Muslims live inside such a country, they should wage jihad against it and turn it into an Islamic nation.

“Here in America,” Dr. Caner warned, “the threat is real. Either Muslims believe they cannot be an American citizen or they are here because they believe they will not stop until America is an Islamic nation.”

“If that is the case,” Dr. Caner stated, “then when do we say ‘enough is enough?’”

The ultimate goal of the Wahhabi Muslim in America, and what they are being taught through Saudi Arabia Wahhabism, is to restore the Muslim Caliphate.

The Muslim Caliphate, which was abolished as an institution in 1923 by Turkish ruler, Kemal Mustafa, is a Supreme Religious Ruler of the Islamic world.

“Translated,” Dr. Caner said, “this means more killings in the name of

Allah.”
